I have a hard time answering the following questions! I would appreciate if the readers of this blog would help me in answering these questions:
1. If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Travels or MATTI?
2. If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Gas or STO Gas?
3. If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Fuels or STO Fuels?
4. . If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Cement or STO Cement?
5. . If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Fisheries or MIFCO?
6. . If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Air (TMA) or Island Aviation (Maldivian)?
7. . If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Airports or Maldives Airports Company?
8. . If Gasim Ibrahim (Buruma Gasim) becomes President of this country, will he give preference to Villa Shipping or MNSML?
9. Villa Money Transfer (Western Union) or Bank of Maldives?

ReplyDeleteThe same as to what happened to President Maumoon and Zaeem Maumoon of DRP. DRP Zaeemu uses state funds with the help of President Maumoon who always come up and say "Hey that’s President of the Maldives, not DRP Zaeemu Maumoon'. Population must get used to this phenomenon of the chameleon’s changing color.

ReplyDeleteI think the problem with Maldivians is that they concetrate on focusing the one they dislike and try to prove he is wrong, instead why dont we adopt the concept to prove who is right.......The very obvious fact is that there is no one who is right among presidential candidates...thats the sad truth..and also the truth is we have to vote for some one, ......and i think the writers without trying to prove who is right, should go for the oppossite...This is creating more and more confusion..Who should we vote for then? Anni?

It would B a shame 4 us 2 vote 4 the person who already made 49% of Maldives liable 2 foriegners & also it is not reasonable 2 vote 4 some1 who would bring all the three powers under his control.
ReplyDeletebushry, do you have anything against buruma? your articles have a lot of hatred and envy against the guy. is it due to the fact that he didnt allow your-monday-times in his resorts? i think you are being rather petty if that is part of the reason for your obvious propaganda against him. not that i like him either. but i dont like hassan saeed as well. isnt he the one who used his power to get his brother become atoll chief in addu atoll? he abused the power entrusted by the government to the fullest before he decided he had had enoungh.the list is quite long so i'll just leave it at that.

Bushry have a habit of proving a mere illusion. What bushry forget to see is the real scenario, the practical side of maldives politics. The whole purpose of what happened last 3 to 4 years was to get rid of Maumoon. If we go back to 3 years back, there was no one against Buruma becoming president, because at that time nobody could even think of alternative. out of dream, poor buruma have sacrificed lot of his time, ernergy, his wealth for this process, if it was not for qasim, the constitution would have been on the starting point. if it was not because of qasim wealth distribution maumoom would have easily halted and stoped the momentum. The truth is qasim have the biggest stake in interms of spending, network, machinery in the reform movement. He did what he could. But now the question is who should we vote after many years. The available options are Maumoon, Hassan Saeed, Anni, Gasim, Ibra.
ReplyDeleteif you are reformist you wouldn't vote for Maumoon right. Than among the other candidates what is hard truth is non of them will give up for the other. Anni is very much damaged, his party has lost the touch, he have told 100s of lies infront of the public, and plus his activist chractor cannot be sold. Hassan Saeed is good candidate, but dont have the propoer machanism to win the election. at this point hassan saeed is likely going to go to 4th level. may be near equal to anni. Than the left over is Qasim, Qasim is the most potential candidate to bring this regime to an end.
Now comes his wealth, his money, his villa. There are also facts as below
- If Anni get elected - would he not favor Sikka Business tycoon, Who is the biggest financer of his bid. would he not favor Alora, Pan, Their resorts, and many other business.
- If hassan saeed get elected. would he not favor Universal group business. who is financing him for his bid.
- If Ibra win, would he not favor BIG group, 1 and half degree, who is main financer.
If you think above qasim is the only person who is campaigning with his own money. But others are doing this with other agents money. Would you choose direct person or an agent. Like always Universal or another freak will be eating our money behind the curtain.
Bushry get to your senses. Qasim is the best choice we have.
Gasim is a slave of endheri family. That is a part of Maumoon. Many Maldivians agree for this truth. If you a looking for a change then would it b better to support Nasreena instead of Maumoon? Who believe this? Gasims use to call ILYAS BEBE. I would like to request all reformists please dont vote for Gasim and Maumoon. Gasim is is the master mind worm sent by Maumoon to destroy MDP. Maumoon is in success. SO dont let them win the second chance. If Maumoon or Gasim is elected then we must giveup everything and be their slaves. Please think about this.....
