This Islamic Centre would not be just a mosque. It would have a capacity for at least one thousand people to congregate for prayer and it would have a conference hall, an Islamic Library, a set of classrooms to teach the Holy Koran and other Islamic teachings, an Audio Visual room, a computer lab and some recreational or sports facilities allowed under Islam.

i doubt except a very few would use these facilities. so why dont we think of incorporating most as part of masjid and others in teaching philosopies at schools? yes we need branches of the public library in atolls. rick
ReplyDeleteA building is not going to produce any result.We need qualified people who can build the Islamic thinking in general people,not fake scholars who play with emotions of the people by using the pitch of his voice.

To vote for a ignorant(jahil) is better than voting for someone who was had knowledge of Islam and still didnt preach is not an islamic principle
conduct a course in religious studies in mosques. When building a mosque we could incorporate a lecturing room/class. The class room could be used by students to further their religious education. Or teachers can teach Quran reading for children in Mosques.

ReplyDeleteTo vote for an ignorant (jahil) is better than voting som1 who has knowledge of islam but preaches against wat he knows nd wat is right in islam nd further votin the ignorant is the only way to stop the knowledgeable from propagating the falsehood is infact an islamic principle.
excellent idea ! this function could be housed in the biggest mosque in each island.

Use mosque as a platform to strengthen social contacts & harmony among public.
